My flight reference isn't working with the airline
Flight reference numbers appear in your MyBooking portal closer to your departure date. This is typically from September onwards for winter ski holidays, or roughly 2-3 months before you travel.
If your holiday is still further away than that, you may see a temporary placeholder reference instead - something like
Your airline booking reference will be added to your MyBooking portal automatically as soon as it's ready. There's no need to contact us. Once it appears, you'll be able to:

a00XXXXXXXXXXX. That's an internal Heidi reference, not your airline booking number. It can't be used to check in, select seats, or add bags with the airline.Your airline booking reference will be added to your MyBooking portal automatically as soon as it's ready. There's no need to contact us. Once it appears, you'll be able to:
- Check in with the airline
- Select seats (where available)
- Add baggage and other airline extras
