Arranging Travel Insurance

Adequate travel insurance is a condition of your contract with us.
You must have suitable insurance in place before you travel. Without it, you may be personally liable for significant costs in the event of illness, injury, cancellation, or other unforeseen events. Please read our booking conditions.

Why is travel insurance essential?
Travel insurance protects you against unexpected events before and during your trip - medical emergencies, cancellations, lost baggage, and more. The level of cover you choose is your decision, but having a comprehensive policy is essential for your safety and peace of mind.

When should I buy travel insurance?
Immediately after booking your holiday.
Delaying your insurance purchase puts you at risk. If you become ill or injured before travelling and don't yet have insurance, you won't be covered for cancellation costs. Buying insurance right away ensures you're protected from the outset.

Winter Sports cover

Standard travel insurance does not always cover winter sports such as skiing or snowboarding. If you're planning any winter sports activities:

  • Make sure your policy includes winter sports cover.

  • If skiing or snowboarding off-piste, only go with a qualified guide.

  • Confirm your policy covers medical and mountain rescue expenses in the event of an accident.
