Special requests - Flights

We will always do our best to facilitate special requests. Some of the most common special requests we receive relating to flights are as follows:

  • Seats on the plane
  • Nut allergies
  • Assistance on the plane

Can we sit together on the plane?

Yes, we understand that you may want to sit with the rest of your group on the plane. Seats must be selected directly through the airline’s website or app for an additional fee. Alternatively, if you prefer not to book seats in advance, they will be randomly allocated free of charge when you check in.

You’ll need the airline’s booking reference, which you can find in the Heidi MyBooking portal by selecting 'Flight Details' - it is listed as the 'e-ticket reference'. On the airline's website, you will need to select 'Manage Booking' to access your specific booking.

Nut allergies:

To manage your nut allergy when flying, you must check the specific policy of your airline and contact them in advance to provide details about your allergy. This allows you to understand their procedures and the airline can inform you of their policies and any preventative measures they have in place.

Assistance on the plane:

If you need special assistance from the airline, you will need to contact your airline provider directly to explain your requirements. This is so that no important information is missed out and you can get the assistance you need.
