Checking out of your accommodation

Each accommodation may have slightly different check-out procedures, so we recommend speaking to reception during your stay to confirm the process. In general, here are a few things you may be asked to do before leaving:

  • End-of-stay cleaning:
Self-catering guests may be required to clean dishes and empty the dishwasher. In some properties, you’ll have the option to either clean the apartment yourself or pay a fee for a cleaning service - check with reception.
  • Empty all bins and recycling:
Self-catering guests are usually expected to remove all rubbish and recycling before departure.
  • Tourist tax:
If you arrived late and haven’t paid your tourist tax yet, this will typically be settled during check-out.
  • Key return:
Please return your keys to reception. If reception is not staffed, there is often a key drop box or a designated area on the reception desk.

To avoid any surprises, it’s a good idea to check these details with reception a day or two before your departure.
