What are the differences between the transfer options?

Go Skiing by Train: 11 Destinations Where No Car is Needed - Ecobnb

At Heidi, we offer a few different types of transfers so you can choose between value, convenience, and style of travel.

Private Transfer
A private vehicle reserved just for your booking. This is a smooth, hassle-free option with door-to-door service (unless you’re staying in a car-free resort). Your driver will be waiting at the airport with a sign bearing your name, and before your return journey, you’ll get a text confirming your pick-up time. For larger groups, this can even work out cheaper than buying individual coach tickets.

Shuttle Transfer
A shared minibus that usually offers door-to-door service (again, except for car-free resorts). You’ll be travelling alongside other guests who may be dropped off at different hotels or resorts along the way, so the journey can take a little longer than a private car.

Coach Transfer
A larger shared bus that drops passengers at designated stops within the resort. Coaches run to a set timetable, so you may need to wait at the airport until all passengers have landed and reached the pick-up point. We’ll always aim to match your flight times with the most convenient option.

Train Transfer
Our newest and greenest option. Trains are clean, modern, and comfortable and often cheaper too. Think less traffic and more of a scenic adventure: gliding past snowy peaks, glittering lakes, and Alpine villages as you wind your way through the valleys to your resort. It’s a magical start (and end) to your ski holiday.

Please note: All options are not available for every booking. Availability depends on your specific route, resort, and local transport providers.
