Your included baggage allowance:
As standard, your baggage allowance with Lufthansa is one small cabin bag per person (up to 40 x 30 x 15cm, including handles and wheels), included free with your fare, which must fit under the seat in front of you. Larger cabin bags and hold luggage are optional extras.

Some fares and holiday packages include more than the standard allowance, so please check your Heidi booking confirmation to see exactly what's included with your booking.

If you added extra bags through Heidi when you booked, these will show on your Heidi booking confirmation. If you add bags directly with Lufthansa, these won't appear on your Heidi booking confirmation — they'll show in your Heidi booking instead.

To add ski bags, contact us for an additional reference you will need. After getting this, please fill out this form from the airline linked here.

To add normal checked bags - Please follow these steps:

1. The Lufthansa reference is a six-character alphanumeric code shown in the flights section of your Heidi MyBooking portal.
   You can find our helpful guide for logging into your MyBooking portal here.
2. The lead passenger is the first person listed in your Heidi MyBooking portal under the 'Passenger details' section.

Once you have the reference:

1. Go to Lufthansa.com                                                                                                                                                                        
2. Click "Manage booking"
3. Then click "Enter booking code"                                           
4. Provide Lufthansa e-ticket reference, along with the surname and first name of the lead passenger.
5. Then Scroll down to see what you have included already and you can click "Add baggage" if you require any further baggage for your flight.
6. Should you wish to add any ski/snowboard carriage, you will need a 13 character ticket reference. You will need to contact us in order for us to provide you with this reference.
7. If you have added any ski/snowboard carriage directly with the airline, please notify us following these instructions. This allows us to inform your transfer provider and ensure there is adequate space in the vehicle. If you have added hold bags only, please contact us using the details below.
