Before going on your holiday, make sure to have all the correct documents ready and on hand. Here are a few things you should double check and get ready beforehand:
- Make sure your passport is valid and won't expire while you are away. You should check the country of your holiday, as well as the country of the airport you're flying in to (if these two are different). Please have a look at the Foreign Travel Advice.
- You should also check if you need a Visa to travel. UK citizens generally don't need a visa to travel around Europe.
- Check-in to your flight and download and/or print your boarding pass beforehand. Most airlines have digital boarding cards you can keep on your phone. Dependant on the airline you can check-in anywhere between 30 days and 23 hours before departure. Please also make sure the name on your boarding pass matches the name in your passport.
- Print out any vouchers provided by us. You should get one for your ski hire, lift pass and coach transfer if this applies to your holiday. You can access your vouchers on your MyBooking page.
- If you are travelling with a child that doesn't have the same surname as you because they're either a nice/nephew or maybe one of your children's friend, you need to bring a permission slip signed by at least one legal guardian, and a copy of their passport, so that it can be corroborated. If it is your own child but you don't have the same last name, it is advised to bring a copy of your marriage certificate or their birth certificate.
- Please make sure you have adequate travel insurance for your ski trip, including snow sports cover, and bring any necessary documents for this.
