Luggage & Baggage Allowance

We know luggage is an important part of planning your trip, so here’s how baggage works with your booking.

How to check your baggage allowance

Your baggage allowance is listed on your Booking Confirmation.
You can find this anytime in the MyBooking portal:

MyBooking → Documents → Booking Confirmation

Because each airline has different baggage rules, your Booking Confirmation is always the best place to check:

  • How many bags you have purchased

  • Weight limits

  • Size (dimensions)

  • Whether baggage is included or needs to be purchased

Why baggage isn’t added automatically

We don’t automatically include baggage in bookings — and this is intentional.

We do this to give you more flexibility and help you avoid paying for things you don’t need. For example:

  • Some customers are travelling on short breaks with just hand luggage

  • Some have airline memberships or loyalty status that already includes baggage

  • Some prefer to travel light or add bags later

By not adding luggage automatically, you stay in control of what you pay for.

How to add baggage

You have two ways to add baggage:

1. When you make your booking

You can add baggage on the Extras page during the booking process.

2. After your booking is made

Once your flights are confirmed, baggage must be added directly with the airline using your airline booking reference. This ensures:

  • The baggage is linked correctly to your ticket

  • You receive the most up-to-date prices and availability

Important: Every airline is different

Each airline has its own:

  • Baggage allowances

  • Weight limits

  • Size restrictions

  • Rules for hand luggage vs checked bags

That’s why it’s essential to check the Booking Confirmation for the exact baggage rules that apply to your specific airline and flight.
